Manchester United transfer news: Real Madrid offer THREE players to Red Devils in bid to sign Paul Pogba

Real Madrid have stepped up their pursuit of Paul Pogba by offering three of their players to Manchester United, according to reports.

Zinedine Zidane, who was reappointed Real boss in March, has identified the Frenchman as one of his prime targets and is now putting pressure on the club to secure a deal.

Pogba has previously revealed his admiration for both Zidane and Real Madrid, sparking a flurry of rumours linking him with a move to the Spanish capital.

The midfielder has had a turbulent season at Old Trafford, having performed well for only a brief period when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge on a temporary basis.

The World Cup winner clashed with fans in the final day of the season and according to the Sunday Times, Bernebeu chiefs now believe a deal is ‘really possible’.

It is said Real president Florentino Perez is keen to avoid a cash payment for the midfielder and is instead willing to part ways with three of his stars in a bid to prise Pogba away from Old Trafford.

Gareth Bale is one star who could be involved in the deal – the Welshman has again fallen out of favour with Zidane and has been heavily linked with a move to the Red Devils.

Real are also offering James Rodriguez and Keylor Navas to Solskjaer in their bid to sign Pogba.

If Pogba does join the LaLiga side, he will most likely be joining Eden Hazard at the Bernebeu.

Hazard all but confirmed his departure from Chelsea in the aftermath their Europa League victory, confirming it is a ‘goodbye’ to Blues fans.
