Robbie Keane has told talkSPORT 2 he is excited to be a part of ‘a huge moment in the history of Tottenham Hotspur’ in Saturday’s legends game at the club’s new stadium.
And Spurs legend Clive Allen has even said the £1billion ground has ‘the spirit of White Hart Lane’.
A host of iconic stars have been invited pull on a Spurs shirt once again for the second test event at the soon-to-be-opened Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Former striker Keane will captain an all-star team of Tottenham legends that will feature Jurgen Klinsmann, Rafael van der Vaart and Paul Gascoigne.
They will take on the Irishman’s former club, Inter Milan, in the final run through before the opening ceremony and first game against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

And Keane can’t want to lace up his boots again.
“I’m really, really excited to play in this game,†he told talkSPORT 2 on Friday.
“It’s a massive event and the stadium looks unreal. I haven’t seen it yet myself, so I’m certainly looking forward to playing in it.
“I’m grateful Gary and Clive have given me the opportunity to lead the team out.
“Nothing beats playing football and you miss it when you stop playing. I’m certainly looking forward to getting back out there, putting the boots on and hopefully I‘ll score a get a few goals.
“There’s going to be a lot of top, top players there and it’s going to be a huge event.
“It’s a huge moment in the history of Tottenham Hotspur. The stadium looks absolutely magnificent.â€

Allen will be in the dugout for the legends clash as assistant to fellow club legend Gary Mabbutt, who has taken the reins as manager.
While Keane’s first stadium experience will come on Saturday, Allen is already quite familiar with club’s new state-of-the-art home.
And the former striker revealed the spine-tingling sensation he felt when he stood under the lights for the first time.
“My first visit was a couple of weeks back,†he added.
“I stood in the empty new stadium at midnight with the lights on and there were shivers running down my spine. It was absolutely extraordinary.
“It’s as if the spirit of the old White Hart Lane has just slid into the new incredible 62,000 stadium. It was wonderful.
“It will be something to behold when it’s full. We had just under 29,000 in there for the first test event, which was an academy game, and the atmosphere was amazing.
“So I just can’t wait to see what it’s going to be like tomorrow afternoon.â€
