Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino hailed Christian Eriksen as an ‘unbelievable player’ following their win at home to Brighton.
Eriksen’s long-range effort on 88 minutes secured the 1-0 victory for Spurs, and maintained their 100 per cent winning start to life at their new ground.
The win also gives them a four-point cushion over fifth-placed Arsenal, meaning third-place Spurs are in the driving seat in the race for the Champions League spots.
And after the game, Pochettino was quick to heap praise on his great Dane Eriksen.
Speaking to talkSPORT’s Sam Matterface, Pochettino said: “It was unbelievable from Christian, amazing.
“Christian has the capacity to create in a difficult moment. I think the quality is there as Christian is an unbelievable player and you always believe that a player like him can score.”

Spurs have now won four out of four matches at their new ground, vindicating the decision to play the closing home matches of their season away from Wembley.
Pochettino was a huge advocate of not waiting to move in before next season but insisted it wasn’t just down to him that Spurs went to their new home in April.
He added: “I don’t want to praise myself because the decision was between myself, the coaching staff and Daniel Levy – to be brave and try to move as soon as possible.
“We knew very well that it was going to be a big boost for the team.
“In life you must be brave and try to put yourself out of the comfort zone and that’s so important.
“I’m happy Daniel listened to us as it’s been a massive boost for the team and the fans and we’re happy and hopefully we’ll finish the season in that way.”
