Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been charged with improper conduct by UEFA for his goal celebration in the Italian club’s Champions League round of 16 defeat of Juventus.
Ronaldo, the Portugal international, mimicked Atletico manager Diego Simeone’s celebration from the first leg, with the 48-year-old fined £17,000 for acting in an ‘obscene’ manner.
It came after the former Real Madrid star converted a late penalty to complete his hat-trick and a 3-0 victory which sent the Serie A side through to the quarter-finals on aggregate.
